The dejected Delhi Daredevils’ captain Virender Sehwag has admitted that none of his plans are working and it has become extremely difficult for his team to reach the knock-out stage of the Indian Premier League-4.

Chasing KKR’s modest total of 148, Sehwag provided his side a fantastic start by hitting an aggressive innings of 34 runs, but the following batsmen could not capitalise on the situation and the whole team could only manage to reach 131 for nine in 20 overs.
Sehwag acknowledged the fact that his team is under immense pressure because of successive defeats and the players have to play out of their skins in the coming games for staying afloat in the league.
With five defeats in the tournament, DD are lying at the bottom of the IPL standings and they have to win five out of their remaining seven games to make it to the second round.
The skipper, however, sounded optimistic and claimed that the team still has an outside chance of storming into the next round.
"It`s difficult and pressure is on us. We have to pull ourselves and really bat and bowl in coming games. Nothing is impossible. We can still back ourselves from here on and if we win two three games from here on, then it`s possible for us but yes it`s quite
difficult," the blistering opener added.
Citing his batting performance crucial for the team, the Indian vice-captain further shared that he would have to pump up his own batting performance in order to turn the table around for DD.
"I have only got one fifty in the seven games. So I need to look at my performance also. If I get going it will be difficult for other teams to come back," the captain said.
Moreover, Sehwag uttered that T20 game is all about getting the momentum and that’s what his team requires to pick in the upcoming games.
