This is the first time the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in November last year, has failed to fire in his last nine innings, returning with figures of 25, 30, 9, 23, 49, 0, 2, 19 and 6. He has scored just 27 runs in his three innings in the ongoing Test series against Australia, which the hosts lead 2-0.
Respecting national selectors’ decision, Sehwag said that he will continue to work hard and hoped to regain his place in the Test side soon.
"Will continue to work hard for my place in the team. I trust my game and am confident that, 'I'll be back.' Best wishes to the team," tweeted Sehwag - who had been dropped from the ODI squad for the series against England in January this year.
Barring Sehwag's omission, there were no other changes in the squad for the final two Tests to be held in Mohali (March 14 to 18) and Delhi (March 22 to 26) respectively.
