Virender Sehwag made a secret trip to London prior to the Test Series - Cricket News Update
The Indian cricketing fraternity came out with more news after it was learnt that the Indian veteran and star opener, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739, offered a secret visit to his doctor, Andrew Wallace, in London, prior to the kick off to the Test series at Lord's.
According to reports, Sehwag planned his covert trip last month, in order to receive an injection on his shoulder, by Dr. Wallace.
Previously, the Indian batting great had trimmed out his Indian Premier League (IPL) commitments for receiving a thorough treatment for his torn shoulder blade, keeping the much anticipated tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in mind.
As for now, Sehwag has finally made his arrival in England, where he will be joined by his counterpart, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 and England at the Trent Bridge arena, Nottingham.
However, the two Indians are not the only injured duo on the squad, the list also includes spearhead http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Harbhajan-Singh-c61453.
Prior to his arrival in England, Sehwag had been making headlines, after the Indian team, as well as the audience, had started to bank on the batting master, following a disappointing spell by the tourists on the on-going Test series against the English
hosts.
The Indian squad, alongside its media, had initially arrived in England with hopes that their star performers, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/VVS-Laxman-c2772, would rake considerable achievements in the series, touted by many to be 'bigger than the Ashes'.
However, based on what India has offered to its audience, the team now rests its reliance on Sehwag, who has not picked up a bat since May this year, following a shoulder injury.
As for now, the audience will now have to wait and see what the Indian maverick has to offer, as the visiting side heads out to face the English County side, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Northamptonshire-c824, at Wantage Road, on Friday, August 5, 2011.
