India’s out of form opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739 on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, refused to adhere to calls of retirement from international cricket and stressed that he was now fully fit and ready to get back in action.
The 33-year-old right-hand batsman while talking about his retirement issue said, “I will continue to play as long as I am enjoying the game, contributing to the team, winning games for my country. Nobody can force a player to retire."
"It's not like a job, government job where you have to retire at 60. A cricketer can retire at 30 or 60, it's upto the player. (Sanath) Jayasuriya played till 42," he added.
Sehwag, had a terrible comeback in the national team during India’s tour of Australia, where team India were humiliated by the Aussies as http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750’s batsmen kept failing throughout the tour.
Sehwag was called in by the selectors in a bid to strengthen the batting order, but the batsman just could not get going.

He also pointed out the fact that Kohli, who has not even played 100 matches, has already scored 11 One Day International (ODI) centuries, which is a testament to his brilliance.
