Virender Sehwag wants India to win the ICC Under-19 World Cup – Cricket News Update

Sehwag, who played a massive role in India’s success in ICC Cricket World Cup 2011, wishes best for the budding cricketers and urged them to play top cricket in the illustrious event, making their country proud.
“Go there and give your best, just make the most of the opportunity. Try to win the World Cup for your country,” the Test cricketer expressed.
Previously, India has won the junior world cup twice and the dashing opening batsman is hoping for another title triumph. The right-hander further revealed that all the members of the senior team will keenly follow the progress of India Under-19s.

Sehwag himself is one of the modern greats, with more than 16 thousand runs at the highest level of the game. No other Indian cricketer has ever made a triple century in Test cricket but the Delhi-born batsman has two under his belt. On top of that, the
destructive opener holds the record of most runs in an ODI innings - 219, which came against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 last year.
India’s last ODI against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 will be played tomorrow at Pallekele, although the Men in Blue have already sealed the series.
