Virender Sehwag’s recuperation after surgery will rule him out of England tour
The Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) has asked http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Virender-Sehwag-c95429 to undergo surgery to recover from his shoulder injury.
Sehwag’s recuperation phase after the surgery will keep him away from cricket and he will not be able to join team India for the upcoming tour of the Caribbean and the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 series.
The hard-hitting Sehwag, has also been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to the injury.
The opening batsman, who was captaining Delhi Daredevils in IPL, has made the decision on BCCI’s advice to undergo surgery for his shoulder. The operation will take place this week.
PB Vanchi, director of GMR Sports, owners of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 Daredevils, is worried about his injury as well, as he cannot represent his franchise in the remaining matches of IPL.
"It will be a miracle if he plays another match," Vanchi said.
According to the owners of Daredevils, the Board of Control for Cricket in India wants him to undertake surgery.
"He has a problem, he struggled in the last match too. The BCCI is making the arrangements for the surgery," Vanchi said.
He added; "They are waiting for a date. If he needs surgery we are not going to be coming in the way."
Sehwag is a dependable skipper, technically strapping and has a natural ability to hammer the opposition with his aggressive batting.
The fearless batsman opened for his national side throughout the World Cup 2011. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750’s first match in the mega event saw a match winning knock from him.
Sehwag has been destructive in the IPL as well, his 119-run knock against the Deccan Chargers in the 46th IPL match was a prime example of his ability. He scored the ton with the help of 13 fours and 6 sixes.
His absence from his national side is bound to raise concerns, since he is a pivotal part of the Indian batting lineup.
