  1. Slightly wider seats.

Food is a slightly posh version of economy food.

    Drink on boarding.

Priority access for boarding and check-in.

More flight attendants are assigned to the premium and first class cabins than economy.

I've flown first class and premium economy with Virgin. As nice as first class is, I actually preferred premium economy as I felt a bit more comfortable in the seats than in the flat bed. I felt a bit exposed when I was lying down. I think I'm just strange!!

Not sure if they are available at Gatwick. You'd need to check Virgin for that.

  2. I dnt think so , they use there 744's at MAN and GATWICK and there 346's at heathrow dont they ?

And they are retiring there 744's soon for the 380 so i doubt there upgrading the interior on them.

Iv been on upper class on a 744 and its amazing as it is !!

    Good luck.
