Virgin Media witheld call barring?

is there anyway i can block withheld numbers from ringing my house phone? Virgin media are charing for annonymous call baring now.Any way i can block withheld numbers for free? thanks ,, andy

yes there are organisations that will block all calls you do not want to receave. I think its called Block calls Now. If you are with Virgin media I would check your bills as they are never right they will not send out a copy. They will tell you to pay £1 for a Bill copy you will still never get it.

Why do you think blocking incoming anonymous calls should be a free service? Most telephone companies charge for this.

Have you registered for 'telephone preference service' (see link), it takes about a month to become effective, but now we never receive calls from double glazing companies. We still receive the odd call from overseas (look up 'boiler scams' for example) as the TPS only applies to UK companies.
