Virgin what is an appropriat age???

Hi I am a 17-18 year old virgin, I would like ti know the statistics for the age at which a person is likely to lose their virginity, am I abnormal??? I am very responsible and have all ready had close relationships.

I lost mine when I was 12 and I was soooo not ready. But I felt the experience made me stronger as a person. Especially when i was, well i dont like to use the word rape, but that's basically what it was.

Until you are ready to take care of a baby.  You are fine.  You don't have to have s*x to be grown up.  Wait for someone you truly love and hopefully marry.  s*x can be a fun sport, but in a meaningful relationship it is much more rewarding.

wait until your ready. Im 20 now. I just got married in April. I dated my husband for 2 years and I waited until we got married before having s*x.

When you have it should be up to you. You should care about the person and be ready to have s*x. Whether you 17 or 30, it doesnt matter. Like I said, I waited until I was married. I had thought about having s*x before that, but I wanted to wait until then.

Just be sure your ready and do it with who you want, when u are both ready

I lost my virginity shortly before my 18th birthday. I thought at the time he was Mr Right, but he turned out to be Mr Ok-for-now. I don't regret it though, he was a lovely guy, it was very romantic and we took precautions.

He did have a little 'accident' before the clothes were even off though! LOL.

I lost it at 16, but i reckon thats too young, 18 is just about right. Anything below 16 i think is weird, you can't love at that age, so what's the point>? makes you look like a slag. Well done on you for waiting.. sooner or later the right guy will come along and it will be perfect timing.

Legally its 16 but that doesnt mean that you should lose your virginity at 16. Any age you feel ready after 16 is fine.

no you are not abnormal. a survey carried out in 2007 of 3500 teenagers and young people aged between 13 - 25. it turns out that about 83% did not loose their virginity until they were in their late teens or early twenty's and those who had done it at a young age regretted it.

and yes you are responsible. there is a different time that everybody looses their virginity. just do it when the time feels right
