Virginia Beach weather on September too cold to swim?

I am planning to have a trip to virginia beach second week of September. Is weather gonna be too cold to jump into water?

Not at all. I live in Virginia, and I've been there in the early fall. Temperatures are in the mid-90s now. The odds are that the temperatures will be in the 80s with decent swimming weather. That said, you also can see temps go into the 90s or down into the 70s. But the odds are in your favor.
