Virginia tornado...?

Was anybody on here affected by it today?

I've read the news about this in the internet, it says F3/F4  have struck Virginia, and it is miracle that no one was killed

i was working in Suffolk yesterday.  I set up model homes for a local builder.  i was inside a condo and i hadn't closed the front door completely.  the door blew in and i heard the loud freight train sound.  there was no warning.  the clouds looked horrible.  i am originally from Tennessee where we were used to having tornadoes.  this was shocking.  Luckily, the condominium complex that i was working in was in tact, however the neighborhood about 1/2 mile away was hit hard.  i had forgotten what a tornado sounded like.  i want to help with the damage.  many people are without homes.   Residents in coastal Virginia know how to prepare for hurricanes, but tornadoes are a whole different story.

Yes, I live in Suffolk near the hospital that was struck.  It hit west of me, then hit again one block east of me.  I'm counting my blessings today.

today i read that right before a tornado the sky will turn green. the article said that most tornados occur in May .

I am from PA, I am glad that you are safe and doin' good Ima.

Those things scare me!! I am in a powerchair and with my two girls majority of the time. We had a F1 3 yrs ago hit east of me, I felt the wind off of it. Eeerry!
