okay, so im a virgin and i am debating on making the commitment to stay pure till marriage.

Its a really big thing to promise so i definately want to be sure on it first.

but i also need to get my facts strait a little.

Does the bible constitute s*x as full p***s penetration, or does it mean sexual acts in general, iel oral or by hand?

I prefferably want an answer from someone involved in a christian church but other virgins can answer aswell!

thank you! and please be respectful, i value the beliefs of others and i just want the same kind of courtesy

  1. If you want to "stay pure till marriage," you might want to lay off the oral.

  2. Any sexual or intimate act.

Mind, some people think tampons are, er, out too, but this is going a tad overboard.

Edit: Oh come on, people, a tampon can NOT rob you of your virginity. -.-

  3. I believe s*x is s*x , whether oral or by hand.

As a christian married woman I wish I would of saved myself for my husband. It would of been something sacred that I could of given him. But I did not.  I wasted it on a man that' didn't even love me and had no intention of marrying me. That is a regret I will have to live with for the rest of my life. Please dont make the same mistake.

       God Bless you.

  4. Any sexual act that involves the manipulation of the genitals, usually to o****m (But not required) constitutes s*x.

That includes penetration, oral s*x, hand jobs, etc

  5. Virginity is when a woman has not had sexual intercourse. But, if you are committing to purity unto marriage, then you also must be pure in other ways. No oral or by hand.... s*x acts other than intercourse between unmarried single persons are a form of lust....which is also a sin. Good luck with whatever you decide. It wont be easy if you choose purity...but it will be worth it I can assure you. God Bless.

  6. Actually, any kind of s*x before marriage is not approved of in the Bible.  s*x is considered lust unless you are married and it puts a curse on you if you are not married because we have to go by what God said or we are in trouble.  That's wonderful you are still a virgin.  You don't have anything to regret now.  Stick with it and you will be glad you did!!!

  7. Only s*x between a husband and wife are acceptable to God.You and your husband will be glad you waited.

  8. Dont do anything more than kissing. Stay pure until you are married, the only man that you should be intimate with is one person. And, as the bible states clearly : flee sexual immorality my friend...flee means run as if in danger. Also be careful about who you get involved with because marrying a divorced man in some instances is adultery according to god.

Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

It is not hard to remain pure, you just have to date the right guys that are loving .. they will respect it... and not even try anything.

  9. The answer depends on what your focus is.  Scientific means no penetration.  But, virginity that is spoken in the Bible means pure and chaste mind and body.  No grinding let alone anything else.  Keep your mind on Christ and in time he will lead you to the right person.  I wish I had not even kissed my wife or held her hand while dating.  Imagine the electric rush when you approach your man at the alter and neither of you have even kissed.  Your first act as husband and wife will be before the Lord.  It is a beautiful gift to give God.

I have only known my wife and she has known only me.  We never have to fear or suffer comparison.  No unwanted lover to pop up at a later date with baby in tow.  No STD's or emotional scars of a sexual nature.  I do not feel like I have missed out either and I am a piggy man!

God is the only one who can Judge.  Judgmental is a petty human term.  To God something is either right or wrong.  There is no gray in his sight.  He, the creator and whether we like it or not his word is law.

  10. Ah ha!  I see, someone's been playing the field...naughty, naughty, girl...he he...

  11. this si a good question. No i dont think oral counts are s*x

y give me 6 thumbs down

  12. Well, the whole point of waiting until marriage for religion is remaining pure. Would you consider someone who gave a BJ pure and innocent? No.

But in my atheist point of view, being a virgin means you haven't had s*x yet.

  13. I believe this is a question you should meditate on.  This delves into personal morals and I don't believe you can find those in any book.  Look into yourself and discover your core beliefs, then, act on them.

  14. Every form of s*x is a sin outside of marriage.  Stay pure and don't ask your body how it feels about it.  Keep your mind on pure things.  Keep yourself busy with other things.  Stay in church and keep Godly friends.

  15. The main reason for God's strict restrictions on s*x was for disease prevention reasons and in the case for girls more than boys as a heart breaking prevention measure. You can still catch a disease through oral s*x that can be spread to others before you are married and to your husband to be. So I would say that full p***s penetration and oral s*x are out until you are married. Hand jobs on the other hand, (no pun intended) I would have to say are OK.

  16. If you've lusted after someone that you're not married to, then you've already committed adultery in your heart, said Jesus.

So now why are you looking for loopholes?  Oral is s*x.  Petting is s*x.  Anal is s*x (and is disgusting).

Go get married and have s*x with your spouse.  End of story.

  17. just vaginal... u can do anal.

  18. I'm pretty sure the use of 'virgin' in the Bible was a mistranslation of 'young woman'.

But pretty much all of what you've mentioned is technically s*x.
