Virtual Villagers 3: The Secret City help?

Okay i started off and one of my villagers had an encounter and winded up with Adept Scientist but then he didnt know who he was...ANYWAY i have an adept scientist builder and farmer and ive fixed half of the alchemy lab but how do i fix the other side?

All that is required to fix the alchemy lab (the left side of the stone octagon) is having an adept scientist collect the four bowls and one spear head around the island.  If you are talking about the right side of the stone octagon, that is not actually a part of the alchemy lab.  That side of the stone octagon gets more "fixed" every time you buy a level up in science.  If won't be fully "fixed" until you buy level three of science.
