Question:

Virus Problem? Any Help?

I think my computer is struk with strange virus...seems like unharmful, but later could cause problem......I don't know. The virus is like that no matter how many times I format my Hard Disk's partitions but every time after formatting there is a folder made (Names Documets or Games or Pictures) in every root directory C D E F (I have four). I check with my AVG antivirus but no infection is found. What is this? Pls help?

  4. Have the people at btexpress look at your computer. The site is btexpress.page.t and it has great deals. See for yourself  

  5. My Games is often made my any game you install to store its save files.

    My Documents is made by default by windows, same with My Pictures

    Names doesn't sound like anything windows does, but with it being in every directory I really don't think its windows.

    If your formatting the hard drive then it should be getting rid of the virus, I don't know about any that can survive a formatting

    Is there any chance that it could be on your windows (is it a full legal version or something you downloaded.

  6. I think you will find that those files are perfectly harmless and they come within your Operating System. Ignore about getting rid of AVG although i use Avira Anti-Virus AVG is just as good.

  9. Which indicates you have XP as your operating system.  And it automatically makes those folders.  Not a virus, not an infection, expected behavior.  And AVG is a very good program.  I've found it does a better job than some programs I paid for.
