  1. You might want to give this a shot:

    http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwar...

Or other similiar tools provided free by several antivirus vendor.

    like www.symantec.com

    http://www.symantec.com/business/index.j...

click on Security Response, Removal Tool

  2. Well then find a bootable disc (linux preferred) and when you're on the disc, browse to your harddrive.

    delete anything you don't want.

    tada!

  3. This does not sound like a virus problem, rather, it sounds like you've disabled some items that you shouldn't have, which is impacting the way your system is operating and allowing you accesses.

Go into the Windows diagnostic feature and allow it to run (if you have Vista it's available through your Control Panel.

If there is a virus then the results will show that there are errors in certain system files.  If that is the case then you'll want to do a complete reinstall of your OS (operating system which is Windows).

If it shows that everything is working fine then you have indeed disabled stuff you shouldn't have.

The quickest way to fix the problem is to recover your system back to the last system save before you made any changes to it.  You can access your system recovery through the Control Panel.

If that doesn't help then you are going to want to do a complete reinstall of your OS anyway.  The whole "add/remove Windows components feature is great in context, but in actualiity is usually causes more issues than anything else.

Once you get your system back to proper functioning, I'd recommend that you stay away from deleting content from your OS unless you are absolutely sure that it's not going to impact the entire installation.

  4. download free version of kaspersky and run it throughly, but download it from  kaspersky home site! Then download something that repairs windows!

    God Bless You

  5. Try running a Trend Micro Housecall scan from http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/ . It doesn't need to be downloaded and it's free.

AVG 8 on its own is not sufficient protection. You should download anti-malware software like Malwarebytes' Anti-malware [ http://malwarebytes.org/mbam.php ] and run a full scan of your system. There have been reported flaws with AVG (I personally have seen three systems infected even whilst running AVG also) so you might want to uninstall it and try Avira Antivir [ http://free-av.com ] or Avast! Antivirus [ http://avast.com ].

  6. ok download a normal free sca from this site:
