Virus attack URGENT!?

Question

On ym other comptuer i have had about 46 virus and worms and all that attack it ive shut it down and thats all i know what to do i dont know what to do im not sure if i have virus protection i dont think i have... HELP can someone help me?

Go to http://www.avast.com and download the home version

Update avast! and then run a boot time scan to detect any nasty that may have been hiding in memory. Avast! I think is one of the best Anti-virus program there is.

Go to http://www.ccleaner.com and download and run the tool

Next go to http://www.safer-networking.org and download Spy Bot Search and Destroy, update it and run a scan.

Now this my seem like it gets a bit redundant but it is vital to make sure your computer is clean.

Next run an online scan by going to http://www.google.com and then type in Bitdefender Online Scan

Next run an online scan by going to http://www.google.com and then type in Kaspersky Online Scan

after you do this download Kaspersky internet security and activate the 30 day trial

if you don't know if you have virus protection, then you probably don't.  buy Norton or McAffee security.  After you put it on your computer it will run a scan and wipe out all viruses and worms.  and it will keep you from getting more.

If you've gotten about 46 viruses and worms, then obviously you either had no virus protection or very outdated virus protection, or you had it, but it wasn't enabled.

I would suggest you look online for anti-virus software - A Google search for "anti-virus free" gives you an entire page of free options.

am sorry to say but you need to erase your hard drive thats all you can do and install windows or mac software

You should consider going out and making a purchase of real anti-virus + anti-spyware software.  Do not buy something generic and personally I would stay away from Mcafee and Norton.

Here is a page I came across the other day that list's several free clients and software packages to help remove viruses.  They also list Spyware Doctor with Anti-Virus first in the list which cost's money to purchase.  that is the client I use and love the stuff.
