Question:

Virus has taken over my computer! HELP!!!?

I have several applications on my computer that have scanned my computer and it is pretty obvious that I have a serious computer virus problem.

These applications won't rid my PC of these viruses unless I "register" and I'd prefer a quicker and easier way to just delete these viruses and get on with my life.

I have to mention that this virus has made it IMPOSSIBLE to go onto the internet (though the connection works just fine) so I'm not sure if I could download a free antivirus software THAT COMPLETELY DELETES VIRUSES, NOT JUST SCANS THEM!!!

What do I have to do to destroy these viruses because I can't do anything on that infected computer or it takes FOREVER. I need your help!

Thank you all so much for your answers! :D

  1. Download AVG free setup onto a flashdrive from someone elses computer

then install onto your computer from the flashdrive. Run the setup exec file and follow the directions once installed do a complete system virus scan and see how ya go--good luck

  2. reboot the system into safemode, and delete the temporary internet files. also check add and remove programs and remove what you dont need. (might be programs there casuing the problems)

  3. I think you must never panic. there are many anti-virus softwares that can be downloaded anyway. You can download AVG anti-virus system and Norton Anti-virus. Because there is virus, reformat your computer as soon as possible because once the virus infected the whole computer, it will be really hard for you to fix it again and in that case, you'll have to buy another computer again. First scan your computer then identify the virus component then remove it with an anti-virus software. You can uninstall programs that is infected. But I think it's time to reformat it anyway. Hope I helped.
