  2. Restart your PC in safe mode with networking

Download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes

    http://www.malwarebytes.org

Run a full scan with Micro Trend House Call

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

After the scans, restart the PC and update your anti-virus, remember to only have one anti-virus installed on your PC

  3. Do a system restore then do the process again download AVG and some Anti spyware(Spy Bot or something like that) you should then be ok if not back up all you files and restore to factory settings and install the anti virus and spyware before putting your files back on

  4. remove AVG and install AVAST home edition.download ccleaner and super anti spy ware, run boot scan with avast .then scan with super anti spyware.TRUST me i had the same problem with screen changing blue with some message on it.there must be some rougue antivirus on ur sys.

  5. start your computer in safe mode with networking by tapping the F8 key while it is booting up...uninstall avg from the control panel..add/remove programs....download the free home version of avast from www.avast.com and run a boot time scan which is part of the set up..it will remove those nasty viruses and a few other things that avg missed....it also has awesome resident protection....cheers

  6. Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT remove these as they are malicious codecs, although they may find reference to them and remove it but upon rebooting it's back again.

Therefore you need to use a 'layered' approach to removing this parasite.

Lavasoft Virtumonde Remover will find and clean the variants of the Virtumonde (a.k.a Vundo Trojan), that integrate tightly with the operating system, causing some scanners to bluescreen windows

    Wallpaper Hijacker Removal Tool:

Note: You should hit all "Repair" buttons even though it may not say "Found!" This will fix a wallpaper hijack everytime if all repair buttons are pressed.

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

    http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant...

Download, install, update and select Full Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

    Spybot S&D:

    http://www.safer-networking.org/en/downl...

Download, install, update and Immunize, then click 'Check for problems' then when complete select all and then 'Fix Checked'

Spyware Doctor Free Basic Edition - Realtime monitoring:

    http://pack.google.com/intl/en/pack_inst...

Its free with Google pack, untick all boxes except Spyware Doctor. Download install, update and run.

If the problem persists, turn OFF System Restore and scan with the above programs in Safe Mode, then turn System Restore back ON and create a new restore Point.

Do NOT turn off System Restore before trying the above fixes, it may not be necessary.

Right click My computer > select Properties > System Restore Tab > Tick Turn Off System restore on all drives.

  7. You may have the rogue virus call 'anti-virus xp 2008"

XP Antivirus 2008 is one of the latest counterfeit antispyware that devastates the wolrd wide web. XP Antivirus 2008 usually come up after you installed a video codec that come with Trojan, malware and virus. XP Antivirus 2008 normally generates fake and misleading system popup error messages so end-users will be tricked into purchase XP Antivirus 2008.
