Virus on computer. and i get blamed.?

we own a gas station and the computerr got an infection. automatically it was blamed on me!. why do kids always get blamed and myspace always get blamed by parents when we didnt do it.

I know. It used to be the same for me.

When I lived at my fathers, I used to get blamed if something went wrong with the computer - despite the only websites I went on at that age were forums connected to that Catz game, for kids.

Parents always blame their children. It's the easy way out for them.

Just don't use Internet Explorer (use instead firefox or opera), and don't click or download every thing you find or someone sends you and you'll be out of virus.

Even better, stop using windows and get a better Operative System like Linux.

Well parents don't know how to deal with computer virus's, so they start freaking out, and all they know is that teenagers go on the computer a lot.

just do this then and they will THANK you not blame you, download and install "AVG 8" and use it as your anti-virus software which also comes with free updates as well. this will help you.

I guess its because kids are most of time on the internet - chatting or playing games.

Take these precautions and you could be safe, when browsing internet.

Always have your anti virus running.

When closing any popups, carefully make a selection.

Dont download anything.
