Virus on my computer and POWER antivirus 2009? (looks like I need more characters :-? hmmm)?

is messing up my computer. How do I fix the virus (someone on Yahoo gave me) and get rid of Power antivirus? (I tried to uninstall and do a cleanup, it wouldnt work) Thank you.

There is nothing new about Power-Antivirus 2009, because basically it is a clone of the notorious Win Antivir 2008. What this programs does:

Power Antivirus 2009 is a rogue antivirus program from the same makers as Win Antivir 2008. In fact, Power Antivirus and Win Antivir are exactly the same program except that the filenames, registry keys, and names are different. They also act the same; they display false information stating that you are infected, while not allowing you to remove anything unless you first purchase the software.
