Virus on my computer?

I can find the files, but I can't delete them. Is their a program that will help with this?

turn off your system restore and then do a scan with trend micro's housecall online scanner or microsoft's one care online scanner. this should remove the virus completely. once the scan is done and the virus removed, turn system restore back on.

and scan your system wtih these programs

buy an anti-virus that can scan ur comp. , so dat u can delete programs on ur pc

I agree with Ayin. Download a live CD of Knoppix or Ubuntu from another computer and delete the files from Linux.

Boot in using a live CD like Knoppix. Then, delete anything you want. Many virii will load as the OS loads and have to be handled harshly. Be sure to turn off and clear system restore points before deleting the files. Knoppix will load into a linux GUI, and it won't load any of the virus stuff. Just delete whatever you want to from the hard drive, then reboot back into Windows after you've finished.

download windows defender if you have a genuine windows xp. you will be protected with this software and will be helped by the microsoft corporation itself. just click FULL SCAN. i hope this helps. =)

Boot into safe mode and run you security software. That is the best way to remove viruses etc.
