  1. I haven't heard of it, we have always used norton anti virus and haven't had any troubles with this.

  2. The good press CA had a few years ago was because then it was using the Kaspersky antivirus engine. Unfortunately now they are using the McAfee engine which puts it equal in performance to the other components, in a direct word, c**p. Windows One Live Care is a suite composed of an antivirus - the old RAV, excellent in its time but since it has been bought by M$ never properly upgraded so it's obsolete, antispyware (Defender) - excellent, the only one useful, firewall - a bad joke, plus some other usless junk

Uninstall your present insecurity software and use the following:

    browser - http://www.opera.com/  - replace IE, it's a malware magnet junk

    antivirus - http://www.avast.com/

    antispyware - http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...

    ................. - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/downl...

    firewall - http://www.personalfirewall.comodo.com/

    maintenance - http://www.iobit.com/beta.html

They are all the best in their category and FREE. Stay away from AVG, Norton or security suites.

  3. I used to install security suites everyday at my old job for private users, and have to tell you, liveOne was terrible when it was first launched in my opinion and CA Pestpatrol and other CA anti-malware were great... However, as time passed the roles reversed. I've seen impressive and very efficient tasking down my liveone, which CA anti-malware has well... gone down the tubes. I've been disappointed with their latest software. I would recommend you stick with liveone! It's only getting better, already running well, and will save you some cash, just run regular maintenance along with liveone, (such as defrag, scandisk/checkdisk, cleansweeps) and your pc will be quick and run well for a long time.
