  1. hold windows key and press r

    then type msconfig and enter.

something pops up and click the startup tab.

from here uncheck anything that is named related to the virus. the things checked you see are the stuff that loads themself when you start your computer. YOUR COMPUTER WILL SAFELY BOOT WITHOUT ANY OF THEM CHECKED.

but dont uncheck all of them for now, just to be safe.

the programs you uncheked can be started manually when you need them.

dont mess with the "services" tab. Although it is the same princible, those things there are more complicated.

once you safely booted the computer without the virus, download and install Avira antivirus free edition (one of the best antiviruses and completely free edition) and delete the viruses with it.

and one more thing, the "top contributer" is joking  ....  8^D

  2. OMG Princess

You hhave the new Antivirus XP 2008" virus and that is exactly what it does. it calls itself an antivirus but in reality, IT IS THE VIRUS AND THE SCREEN TURNS BLUE WITH A BOX IN THE MIDDLE.

Go in your internet browser and type "Mbam.exe"

It will take you to a place where it says mbam- setup.exe..  just click it and it will downland and scan your computer automatically.

I must warn you to back up your files. That virus, I jsut cleaned it this morning and took me 8 hours. It is a very nasty virus.

  3. It sounds like one of those scams that try to get you to buy their product to eliminate spyware by installing their own spyware on your computer.  You will probably need to install McAfee or some other reputable antivirus, anti-spyware, anti-spam program to clean it off your system.  Another option that might work is to go to Microsoft's website and get the latest updates.  They include a malicious software removal tool that is updated once a month.  You might try that first to see if it works.
