Virus scanner - One Care Live, is it any good or is there better ?

I need to renew my virus scanner, I have Windows One Care Live, is it a good program ? I like it because it does everything and it's quite cheap compared to Norton ? Is it any good are the alot better ones ? ... Can one virus scanner be better than another... =S Thanks'

Symantec (Norton) is horrible, unless you think your computer is twice as fast as it needs to be. Norton, Trend Micro, and McAfee slow your computer down unacceptably.

Avast! is the way to go. Free, fast, and unobtrusive. Still slows down your system, but nowhere near as badly as the others.

One Care Live is okay but believe me when I say that Avast Anti-Virus is the best you can get and - it's free! :D Honestly, it will protect you from anything and you will find only GREAT reviews on Google.
