  1. Yes i agree,a lot of online security programs use false positives as well. The antivirus industry has some very sinister undertones does,nt it.

  2. Viruses don't really exist anymore. The only stuff which still exists is spyware and adware which makes money.

Computers are networked together by the malware creators, and used to send spam and phishing attacks, which is used to get people's bank details, which is used to get money.

It's all about money these days. Once upon a time people would try to infect websites and networks of major companies to be respected and well-known within the community, but now it's just about making money.

  3. they do it because the average joe on the net is an easy target. with bank info etc and other info they can use for false ids. they also use thier pc to send out tons of junk mail etc

  4. It,s a bummer but it go,s with this modern age, there will always be people who get their fun from messing up other peole,s live,s. We just have to be more smarter than them.

  5. The reason why they do it is because the average joe is computer idiots. The average joe lack of computer knowledge mean they would click on anything the appear on the screen and launch the virus that would infect their system. The average joe will not know how to install anti-virus programs and patch their Windows system.

Another reason is because the virus writers do not have a girlfriend and they do not have a s*x life. They do not have any social skill so they are unable to get any girlfriends. This result in too much time in their hand which they do not know how to use.
