  2. There's no easy answer to that, but here's a few suggestions to get rid of the malware on your PC.

    1. Reboot your computer.  Right before the Windows XP/Vista startup screen (it should be blank), press F8 a bunch of times.  If done successfully, it will present you with a menu.

    2. Select Safe Mode (top of the list).

    3. When your computer starts, log in as you.

    4. Your computer should look a little different, and ask you if you want to use Safe Mode or System Restore.  Say Yes to work in safe mode.

    5. When logged in, go to Start > Run (Windows XP) or hold down the Windows Key and press R (Windows Vista) to show the Run box.

    6. Type msconfig and press enter.

    7. Click Selective Startup, and uncheck Load Startup Items.

    8. Click OK and reboot your computer.

Your computer will now load only the essentials, and probably won't load the malware when it starts up.  You'll notice some things may be missing when you start up, to fix that go back to msconfig (you don't have to be in safe mode this time) and under the startup tab, you can enable things that should start when the computer does.  Good luck!

    Spybot Search and Destroy -

  5. I hate to tell you this, but you may need to download a couple of tools to help you clean this problem and to protect you from future problems. First off, you need to have an anti virus program. You can go to the store an buy one like Norton, but I prefer free tools. I use AVG Free and have had no problems with it. the next tool you will need is something to help with spyware. Again, I like free but if you want an all in one, you can of course go buy an internet security suite like Norton. I use Spybot. A last tool to get is called Threatfire. This works with your existing av to protect you from the viruses that your av may not have an update for yet. Again, this is free. But as a minimum you need an av and an anti-spyware program.

After you have either downloaded them or bought them, boot your system into safe mode with networking support. This limits the crud that Windows loads on its start-up to the bare minimum. Install you av and anti-spyware. Update both (this is why i suggest network support) and then run a scan with each. Clean the problems and then reboot your PC. Run a scan again once you are restarted to possibly catch anything that was missed or to just assure yourself that you are clean and then go on your way. Below are links to the tools I use and recommend. Good luck.
