  1. C

  2. c. protein and nucleic acid

  3. C

    because they have DNA

    DNA= deoxyribo...nucleic acid.

  4. None of the answers is entirely correct, but (c) is the closest and is true for some.  Viruses are little bundles of genes (i.e. nucleic acid) wrapped up in proteins, many enveloped in lipids and glycoproteins.  They get inside your cells to use them as genetic factories to make lots of copies of themselves.  Some of them (retroviruses, like HIV and FLV) even attach their genes to yours so they reproduce along with your cells.
