  1. False.  A virus particle will contain one or the other, but not both.  That's why they have to invade a cell in order to "trick" the cell into making more virus particles.


  2. FALSE.  Viruses will contain either DNA or RNA as their genetic material.  Viruses can be further classified by whether or not they have single or double stranded DNA or single or double stranded RNA.
