Viruses on my pc,anyone know how to get them away ?

my pc seems to have viruses and freezes all the time and lots of adverts keep opening up thereselves and antivirus2009 keeps trying to install,anyone know what to do with it without ending up smashing it up,lol

Firstly, antivirus programs will NOT remove these as they are malicious codecs.

Download the following free removal programs:

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - soves many problems, use this one first as it removes AntiVirus2009 and variants.

Download, install, update and select Quick Scan

Spybot S&D:

sorry to tell you but if you have "antivirus 2009" on your system the only thing to do is a clean reinstall of windows again, your restore points will all be infected as well so don't even try that option, sorry i can't help you any more.

All your computer performance issues are likely releted to that Antivirus 2009.

It is very likely a Smitfraud infection. Fake and phony 'warnings' to try and con you into purchasing a rogue software to 'fix' the problem.

It should actually be called extortion-ware. First they infect your computer and then they want money to 'cure' it.

All of these are specialised removal tools for this type of fake, rogue advertising of useless malware removal softwares. (Zlob/Smitfraud infections.).

Almost all "general purpose","all-in one" spyware and virus removal programs such as AVG Anti-virus, Norton, McAfee or Spybot S & D cannot remove it, as you may have already found out.

Try installing Kaspersky Antivrus it is the best.If it doesn't help then you will have to reinstall windows.

what antivirus installed in your comp. you can install other antivirus that can fully clean your system. give more info about the virus?

what is the reaction on your comp?

how can you say that it is a virus?

maybe its as spyware or anything..
