Visa Prepaid Debit Card?

I got a prepaid debit card 2 day so i can buy a phone online but when i go to checkout it keeps saying that there is a problem w/ my card. and the offer ends 2day

Are you just purchasing the phone, or signing up for a contract, too?

You cannot sign up for any sort of contract or automatic charges with a prepaid card.  It's comparable to if you go to a hotel and they ask for a credit card to hold the room with.  They keep that information incase you rack up any charges, so they're not left footing the bill on their own.  With a cellphone, since your charges could change from month-to-month, they need some way to make sure they get that money from you.

Was your card activated?  I won a prepaid debit card, added a PIN number, went online and checked how to use this particular card.

Call the Customer Service number on the back of the card and check the balances on the card
