Visa appeals?

how long does this appeal take and are they sucessfull???

What country are you referring to?  You can't really appeal a US visa decision, though you may ask for a re-evaluation if the situation warrants it, or re-apply if there has been a substantial change in circumstances.

well - it depends how long it takes them to process your appeal and make a decision. Whether or not your appeal is successful really depends on what decision they come to. They may stick with their original position with regards to it.

WTF - Why all the thumbs down - i don't think there's anything nasty in my answer  - i could appreciate it if my answer was the slightest bit controversial but it's not - i am just being realistic. Some people can't handle the truth - what do you want me to do lie and say yes these appeals are very fast and always successful because that is not true.

I doubt it will take as long as the original processing does, but be prepared for every angle of their rejections. The American Embassy in Egypt seems to only believe their own 'thoughts' even when proof is right in front of them. I think it's something Bush put into the Homeland Security to stop ALL immigration.
