Visa for holiday in spain or cyprus?

My husband is egyptian and is here on a british visa on a 2 years spouse visa. then will will apply for permenantly to stay. does he have to apply for a visa for holiday in spain or cyprus. thanks dorothy

  1. A friend of mine married a Thai girl on a 2yr spouse visa and they were only allowed to holiday in Thailand,so I suppose they would have had to apply for a visa to holiday elsewhere.

    They live in the UK


  2. The British visa unfortunately makes no difference at all. He is an Egyptian citizen and will need a visa to enter Spain or Cyprus.
