Visa holds Premium Golf Tournament and Training Course in Beirut Lebanon
Premium Golf Tournament and Training Course was held at the Golf Club of Lebanon, Beirut, one of the most prestigious golf courses of the country on July, 9, under the patronage and sponsorship of global Credit giant Visa. The event overlooked participation
from Visa’s Bank partners, premium card holders and selective press members to take part in a full-day tournament.
The event was scheduled under the commitment by Visa to provide its premium card holders a chance to enjoy world class sports facility under its “Visa Infinite Rewards” programme.
Mr. Tony Gougassian, General Manager for Visa Levant, thanked the players and participants for their active contribution throughout the day and said, “As part of Visa's ongoing commitment to its clients and cardholders, we hosted the 'Premium Golf Tournament
and Training Course' to bring them together. This event is a sample of the diverse offerings and services that Visa Infinite cardholders have access to.”
Participants were led by professional trainers through the 18-hole event keeping them abreast with the development on the leaderboard as well as guide them in making strategies and picking up select-shots on the course. The event was also buckled up with
attractive leisure activities which came with bulk of lucrative prizes and small gigs on the course.
The Premium Golf Tournament and Training Course was aimed at providing Visa’s supportive Platinum and Gold cardholders, exquisite and luxurious offers which includes five-star hotels, travel, entertainment and several other attractive offers. The programme
is known as ‘2011 Premium Access Platform’, which was launched at the beginning of the current year and provides its clients with 30 percent reduction on green fee across some 300 high profile golf courses in the world.
Gougassian also thanked the sponsors of the event, G Spa and Gabriel Bocti SAL, who provided the financial and logistic backing for the event. Sponsor’s representatives also took part in the event. Gougassian, and Karim Salam, Head of the Golf Committee
at the Golf Club of Lebanon, later distributed the prizes to the winners brining the event to an amicable conclusion.
