  2. Both of your parents will have to write a paper giving you permission to enter Mexico without them.  You will need to have this paper notarized by someone in the U.S.  You need a passport and they will stamp it for 6 months.  If you need to stay longer than that, just go to the back border and get it stamped again at the end of 6 months.  Or do like I did and marry him and you can get your FM-3 visa.  It has to be renewed yearly and you can do it inside Mexico without having to go to the back to the border.

If you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me.  I know EXACTLY what you are going through and I know how card it can be.  I just moved to Mexico 2 months ago and we're just starting the process of getting my husband's papers so he can get back!

    Good luck!!!

  3. To be real, you dont need to do all of that. If you live in a State close to the border your parents can take you across and you actually can live here with just a Tourist Visa, or anything they ask you when you enter Mexico, if you cross without any Visa is Ok, you wont have problems while you are here. The only thing is to have your Passport from the US for when you go back.

    Good Luck!!!
