If I (Indian national) get visa of Germany from Japan, can I fly to Germany from India. Or do I necessarily need to fly from Tokyo/ Narita? Does the visa mention 'port of entry' and 'port of exit'?

  1. Hello,

your visa for Germany is valid from wherever you fly in.

Usually it is not only valid for Germany, but also for most of the Eruopean Union countries.

You will see if your Visa says "Schengen". If it says so it's also valid for all Schengen countries, such as France, Italy, Belguim, Netherlands, etc.

  2. No your visa, does not require a port of exit/entry.

However your identity and visa could be validated, so as long as the visa are matched to your passport as real. You will have no troble arriving from tokyo.

Why your visa comes from Japan is a question i cannot answer. The visa must come from the german authorities.

    have a great trip
