Visa procedures on visa application interview french embassy?

is it not strict to get a tourist visa granted in French embassy manila?do you really have to go back personally for the results??

From my experience with the french embassies worlwide, you can send someone to bring your passport in case you applied for a business Visa. Otherwise you will need to get it personally.

it is strict to get a visa, and nobody can go in your place, in case of interview ,immigrations laws have tightened theses last few months,of course in a refusal, they will simply send you all your papers back.

you will have to show financial proofs, strong ties to family,perhaps some property liens, job,pay stubs,round trip tickets, hotels reservations,

no many visas are being given to many countries,

too many risks of illegal immigration trough tourist visa;

and to top it all? they do not have to give you a reason for refusal.
