Visa rejection ?

the american embassy lady said that my student visa was rejected due to my low grades and i must take a semester here improve my grades then come back, but i asked

if my grades were the only reason for that rejection she said

thats one of them , i said u rejected me as a student or as a person she said " welllllllllllll, "

i wonder what other reasons to get rejected than low grades

is it the fact im muslim/arab or the fact ive been to average number of*visitin other countries* ive never been to iran/iraq.syria/pakistan /india,, tho

I have jus receivd a rejection regardin my settlement visa for the uk.my husband lived in sa for many years and is a british citizen.im in south africa,unable 2 get my visa even tho the correct procedure has bin followd and application made wit al the requird documents!wot could be possibly wrong?please please help
