Visa reload able gift card?

Question

i have a visa gift card... but it ask for my social security number.. i dont want to give out my social.. so can i return the card and get my money back???????????

Are you saying that it is asking you for a SSN when you try to reload it.  Then don't reload it, and just get another one.  You need to either read the instructions or call the company toll free number on the back of the card, and ask them what information they need when reloading a card.

Who is asking for SSN? Visa prepaid gift card does not need your SSN. You can directly using them at any location accepting VISA.

You may not be able to cash any gift card.

There's absolutely no reason for them to ask for your SSN...they're not extending you credit it's pre-paid.

I say keep your SSN and get your money.
