Visa requirements question?

Hi, I'm a UK citizen with a British passport; say if I was flying to Australia, and then from there into the USA, when I land in the USA, would my Visa requirements be that of a British person or an Australian person? In summary, does it depend on where you're an actual citizen of, or where you're flying in from? Thanks.

  1. You only count as an Aussie if you present an Aussie passport. Wouldn't matter that much for you either way as both countries are part of the Visa Waiver program.

  2. Requirements as a British citizen when going to the US even when coming from Australia.

  3. Entry requirements are based on the nationality of the passport you present at the time of requested entry.
