Visa requirments etc for working in perth?

I have a friend who wishes to go to Perth to work. Please can anyone tell me what visa`s etc is needed. Also where can i find information about these.

You always need a visa to enter Australia and the type of visa will depend on the pupose of your visit.

Tourist visas are available online, but absolutely do not allow you to work.

There is a visa available for "young persons" aged 18-30 which is valid for 12months and allows the holder to work, subject to certain provisions, basically that the holder cannot work for longer that 3 months for any one employer. It is designed specifically to enable "young people" to have an extended holiday in Australia and support themselves by working at the same time.

If its Perth Australia, the relevant embassy. If its Perth Scotland no visa if you are a Uk resident.
