Question:

Visa to SA on Emergency Documents?

I'm planning my trip to SA in December for Christmas (visiting friends and family).

I was in the process of getting a British passport but I was having to Nationalise myself first and it looks like it's going to take longer than 6 months to do so, as complications aroused, so I have to resort to plan B. Anyway, I am going to get emergency documents (my zim passport expired and it will take around 18 months to get a new one!!) from the Zim embassy in London in August (they are pretty quick with them as my sis just got hers).

So, after I have them, I need a Visa to travel to SA, do you know how long this will take?

Please no abuse, it's really important.

Thanks guys!

  1. Skyli it took us about 3 weeks to get a visa for my ex, I dont think it will take that long for you. I recon about 2 weeks.

  2. Good grief Skyli...does it mean that you have to travel to SA on a Zim temp. passport? (I know that the UK refuses to accept emergency Temporary passports) I do not know how easy that will work going to SA. But let us have a look?
