I get no signal from the cable connection, but I get signal through the antenna connection using rabbit ears. I also get dvd signal and computer signal! I tried the antenna connection with the cable but still no signal! The unit is brand new never used and it was built in 2006! Not sure if it’s under warranty yet; but I’d like to know why it doesn’t get signal and if repair is simple?
Thanks!

I recently bought an Insignia 19" LCD TV [NS-LCD19 720p] (with 1440X900 display resolution and NTSC tuner) and am trying to connect it to my Apple MacBook 15". I purchased a DVI to VGA cable, and a mini-DVI to DVI adapter which works fine. When plugged in, my MacBook recognizes the MacBook monitor and also IDENTIFIES the Insignia TV/monitor, but the Insignia TV continues to read NO SIGNAL! I tried changing the resolution of the MacBook display to 1440X852 (the closest to 1440x900) and it did not work. I tried shutting all off and starting the MacBook first, and then starting the Insignia LCD-TV and it still read NO SIGNAL! What do I need to do to get the Insignia to recognize the computer since it is supposed to act as a monitor for a computer?
