  1. f

  2. False, light is capable of traveling through a vacuum and there is no such thing as the ether.

  3. F, Light is an electromagnetic wave i.e. it consists of alternating electric & magnetic fields both of which r perpendicular to direction of propagation of wave. So, it doesn't need a medium to travel thru. It can travel in free space & even any medium. How else do u expect light 2 reach Earth thru space?

  4. False. Ether concept is now outdated. It was just a hypothetical concept.

  5. No>Ether was a old concept which we know is false

  6. True.  The medium light waves travel in is called the ether (alternate spelling aether).

  7. If it did there would be light passing through space.... False...
