Vision and Hearing...?

Question

If someone hears something and sees something at the sametime, which registers first, the sound or the picture? For example, if you're standing at a cross walk, and the little walk guy changes to walk and starts beeping at the same time, would you register the picture or the sound first?

You would see it first because light waves travel faster than sound waves.
