So here is my situation...

I have noticed that my contacts have been bothering me, but it was never a big deal. i always thought that i either had makeup on them or a bit of dust but it was never anything that actually continuously bothered me. that is, until this weekend...this weekend i started to feel like my contacts weren't the right prescription because my left eye was blury. so i booked an appointment with my eye doctor and the tests that she did showed that my left eye got SIGNIFICANTLY better. i was a -2.25 and it is now around -0.50! so my vision in my left eye got better. she looked into my eye to see if it was healthy and i had nothing pushing against my eye and she said everything looks really healthy. she asked if i had diabetis and i checked my blood sugar and it is normal, so i'm just wondering what can cause this. i am worried about a brain tumour or something. i am going to see my actualy PHYSICIAN but i was just wondering if anyone experienced this before.

  1. Yes, I am experiencing this at the moment.  I am very myopic and have been wearing either glasses or contacts for almost 40 years now.  Over the past 5 years, the strength of the prescription for my left eye has reduced by a factor of 3, while my right eye has remained the same.

If your eyes are healthy and you don't have diabetes, then consider yourself lucky and stop worrying.
