Vision is -1.25 but contact online offer -1. or -1.50 which do i choose?

My vision on my current lenses is -1.25 but contacts online only seem to offer -1.00 or -1.50 which do i choose?

Go to the dollar store and get -1.25 glasses.

That's odd, because most lenses made come in 0.25 steps at least up to -5.00 or -6.00.  I would recommend the lower one as I prefer not to over-correct my patients, but I would definitely look elsewhere first.   You should be able to find a

-1.25....unless you are talking about the cylinder number and that's another issue.  In either case, choose the lower.

You need a contact lens prescription, not a glasses prescription to order on line.

You will need to pay your eye doctor for a contact lens fitting and prescription which will specify power and type of lens.

my vision is also -1.25 but eye doctors always prescribe a bit lower than what your eyes really are... I order contacts online at -1.50 and -1.75 and really do not notice a diff.... I am not saying its ok tho, best to check with your eye doc...

Get the -1.  Too strong does more damage as your eyes are having to refocus something too strong, than trying to get better and see more.  My optician has lowered the strength I need ever so slightly for this reason.
