Visions of silhouettes?

Has anyone ever seen a silhouette of something that wasn't tangible? My fiancee rolled over towards me this morning, because he heard me sneeze. He then saw something at the foot of the bed on my side. He said it was a black silhouette, with streaming hair surounding the head, almost like an afro, only straight hair. He couldn't believe his eyes and had to blink for a while, but it just stood there. He wasn't able to see any details, just an outline. He said it wasn't that tall, maybe 5'8".

Has anyone else seen something like this? What could it be?

well, if u have a window opposite that side, then it could have been something from the outside.  If u have a lamp/fan above that, then it could have been the lamp/fan. or, maybe it was a GHOST...lol.
