Visit Visa thru UAE Friend?

Question

Hi:

I have a friend working in the UAE, they make more than 4000 AED a month, but they are not a UAE National.

I myself am traveling from the US to Dubai on a Pakistani Passport.

What I want to know is can this friend apply for my visit visa the same way a hotel or travel agency could?

Additionally if I have distant relatives (no name relations) can they apply for a visit visa for me as well?

Sorry, but your friend is not able to sponsor you no more. If your distant relatives will be able to, I have my doubts, but they can try,
