Visit of "Bal du Moulin Rouge"?

Question

Are Bal du Moulin Rouge, Moulin Rouge and Le Moulin Rouge the same theater?

I want to purchase tickets from Russia in the Internet, but I am afraid to by anything wrong and to get fake.

It is for my wife's birthday celebration! :)

Can anybody recommend anything about visiting this cabaret?

I think that the Lido and the Blue Belle Girls are a much better choice if you really want to see that kind of tourist show.  It's in a better neighbourhood, at the very least.  There are so many better things to do in Paris. Sigh.

Great answer and recommendations of Rillifan, i am parisian and you will waste your money. Go to the referenced entertainement of Rillifan instead !

Frankly, the Moulin Roughe is a waste of money.  Its a tourist trap with mediocre, overpriced food and a Las Vegas type show.

The fact that one can find rave reviews of the Moulin Rouge all over the internet only proves that people with real taste and sophistication continue to be a tiny minority of the human race and that crude peasants with no taste (even if they may have money) continue to be the vast majority.

If you want real sophistication and culture with a nice meal then go to Bel Canto where the staff are opera singers who will entertain you with beautiful music. http://www.lebelcanto.com/
