Visited Dublin recently and there is a concrete looking tower some 3 Miles from the airport. What is it?

It's funnel shaped, so it has a very tall slim trunk and then opens up at the top and slightly dips in like a bowl. Grey looking so it must be concrete

It's not the control tower at the aiport as i could see it some 3 miles away from the runway. I also saw it a few times when we were driving around the outskirts of the city

I'd say it was a water tower of some sort.

It's a water tower but not the UCD one.

It is a water tower located at junction 5, on the M50 motorway, at Finglas.
